OVERVIEW OF 20 QUESTIONS
Everyone has played 20 Questions at some point in their lives, it’s a classic game! This fun parlor game will test your knowledge and detective skills as you try to ask the right questions to find the answer before the 20 questions are up!
GAMEPLAY
No supplies are needed for this game: only a deductive brain and some creative thinking! To play, the player who is “it” must think of an mystery object, place, or mystery person. Once they have thought of one, the other players guess and must start asking “yes or no” questions to get closer to the answer. At one point or another you should start to narrow down the possibilities.
Examples of questions are:
- Is it a person?
- Do you see it in this room?
- Is it something you can smell?
- Is it a famous people?
- Have I met this person?
- Have you been there?
As you get closer to the answer, you can start guessing. But take care, as guesses also count as one of the 20 questions!
END OF GAME
The objective of this great game is for the other players to correct guess the correct answer of the person, place, or thing within 20 questions and guesses. If they are able to do so, the first person that guessed correctly is “it”. If the other players were unable to guess correctly within 20 questions, the person who was “it” wins the game and may lead another round.
